Today we have announced that Anita Morris Associates has rebranded as Animo PR, reflecting the evolution of the agency’s work across arts & culture, regeneration and placemaking.
The rebrand brings greater clarity to how the agency works today, aligning its name and identity more closely with the scale, ambition and strategic role it plays for clients across the UK.
Blending elements of the founder’s name, Anita Morris, Animo also draws on the Latin meaning ‘with spirit, mind and intention’. The name reflects the agency’s long-standing approach: shaping stories, shifting perceptions and building trusted reputations through strategic insight and creative energy.
The rebrand also acknowledges how the communications landscape has changed. While trusted media outlets continue to play a vital role in shaping public understanding, organisations now have greater opportunity – and responsibility – to speak directly to audiences through digital and social platforms. This shift brings an increased need for strategic thinking, judgement and expertise to develop clear, engaging storytelling across multiple channels.
Animo PR works across earned media, digital and social communications, helping clients navigate complex public conversations, build credibility and connect meaningfully with audiences. Its work spans media relations, digital strategy, content creation and public-facing campaigns, ensuring stories are coherent, purposeful and effective wherever they are experienced.
Based in Ilkley, the agency brings more than 25 years’ experience and continues to work with organisations shaping the UK’s cultural and civic landscape. The agency’s leadership, team and client focus remain unchanged.
The rebrand coincides with a period of sustained activity for the agency, which continues to work with national and regional clients including Heatherwick Studio, ECF and the West Yorkshire Local Visitor Economy Partnership, alongside cultural programmes and events extending into 2026.
These client partnerships sit alongside the agency’s long-standing work across arts & culture, regeneration and place-based transformation, including Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture, LEEDS 2023, The Piece Hall and projects with sustainable developers Citu, igloo Regeneration and Muse.
With an established leadership team and a growing portfolio of national and regional projects extending into 2026, Animo PR continues its work with organisations shaping cultural, civic and urban change across the UK.
